Atlechia is the capital of state of Altechia in the Zamotz Union of Eldham
History[]
Pre-Eldham[]
Swenking, rubligt, swenking2 and 150novembar lived in a small town "Idunn" in a land far away the land was called "Hallbjorn". Swenking was the captain of a boat with 20 other soldiers;They just were making ready to go out to pillage when they heard an attack horn. Next moment they see around 100 warriors of a enemy tribe running towards the village where they lived.
Swen got together his crew and began fighting their way to the boat. They lost many warriors on the way there.
When they came to the boat, they jumped on it and began sailing away as they saw their village and its inhabitants get overpowered and murdered.
They had no clue where they were going and sailed into a thundercloud by accident and came to the world of Eldham.
Settling[]
The surviving People of Idunn (swenking,swenking2,150novembar and rubligt) came by a place called the Viceroyality of Isillûnde (colony of Aurlûnor Velande)and decided to make a settlement there called Atlechia (named after the founder of Idunn, Bjorn Atleg).
The ruler of the land they settled on, (coffeeccubus)who was notorious for removing squatters, found out about their claims on his land and was furious. He gathered an army and attacked the settlement. The settlers had no chance and were quickly defeated and set sail to a place called Neubaykonia.
When they came to Neubaykonia, they settled on a establishing Atlechia there as Swenking quickly went to a high rank in Neubaykonia as a prime minister. With the city of Atlechia that quickly had grown, Swen gained a lot of power, but disagreed with Neubaykonia because of two major differences in their governments: As well as the major cultural differences: Neubaykonia Supports Democracy and is Pacifist, while Atlechia is Authoritarian and Militaristic.
Swen eventually declared independence to form the independent nation of Atlechia.
The Renegade Conflict[]
Sometime in mid-August 2021, Chafeau, a citizen of Atlechia, decided to start their own nation. They settled on a small island made of ice and named it Arrus. The city developed very quickly, becoming the capital of a small confederation composed of surrounding islands, but they suffered under the rule of Chafeau. After several diplomatic embarrassements, and with the threat of war looming, The Ministry of Arrus (at that time made up of Dream, Cinderevin, and Kotsos) decided that this would not stand. They called for the abdication of Chafeau and announced that they would take power.
Soon after the Ministry made their intentions clear, Chafeau called on Atlechia to make a bargain. In exchange for military aid, Chafeau vowed that the islands would join Altechia as a province. Unfortunately, the Ministry declared the bargain invalid, because, according to them, the former king had no power to strike such a deal. Atlechia ignored this objection and offered The Ministry a chance to join Atlechia, arguing that it would be beneficial for both parties.
The Ministry rejected this offer, and attempted to fight for their nation, resulting in the Battle of Renegades. The Atlechians had superior equipment, but The Ministry had more soldiers. The Ministry won this contest, but that wasn’t the end of it. Somehow the Atlechians believed that the Arrus had agreed to a series of 1 v 1 duels to decide the outcome of the war. The duels ended 2-1 in favour of Atlechia. The Ministry protested the outcome as they had not authorized the duels, and Altechia threatened more conflict. However, at this point the Arrus were weary of war. Cinderevin and Swen struck a deal. The people of Arrus joined Atlechia, as a semi-autonomous province, under the leadership of Cinderevin. Chafeau quickly faded into inactivity.
Author’s Note: This is a gross oversimplification of the weirdly complex layers of espionage, confusion, and pride that was the legacy of the Renegade War (Arrus Civil War). A page will soon be released detailing more about every facet of this conflict, and I would highly encourage anyone interested to give it a look.
Joining of Amspinradde[]
Atlechia got word about an unclaimed city belonging to The Empire Of Doriath to the south of the mainland, king swen , knowing this, alerted the leaders of Doriath about it. Their leaders carelessly told the king: "we know but just dont care". The king took this as an oppotunity and began investigating their nation , he found their whole nation unclaimed. The King ,then, sent an official to settle their capital and thus claiming the empire of Doriath.
Swen notified the people of doriath about the claim Atlechia had made. The People of Doriath were Furious at Swen and left the nation to settle in The Pirate State of Barbossa.
Imperium Draconis purchase[]
Imperium Draconis was a declining state as a Protectorate of Uraka (a more complete wiki in my opinion here) and its existance came to an end when it sold all of its lands to Atlechia , and therefore to the Zamotz Union. It was Bought for 200k and became alongside Enoria the province of Aernovall.
Zamotz - Skjoldbrodir war[]
The participation of Atlechia in the zamotz-skjoldbrodir war was minimal and a small force was sent to support the main zamotz army. A full documentation of the war can be seen here.
