In the inland sea that separates the nations of Aristios and Redoriv sits the mercantile city-state of Galena. Founded on October 4th, 2021 by Octaeus, the Grey, who was drawn to this location after his awakening by the Architect. Galena's strong ties to IOTA (Inheritors of the Architect) lead the people of this nation to be non-confrontational, and focused instead on the acquisition of wealth through trade and diplomacy. It is believed by many that the reason the Architect lead Octaeus to this place was to perhaps ease the tensions between it's surrounding neighbors.

Having literally built itself up from the bottom of the ocean, Galenians celebrate ingenuity and entrepreneurism. It should be no surprise then that such a practically-minded society has a political climate very akin to plutocracy, believing that whomever has the most to offer, monetarily, while still holding the values of the people, is fit to rule.

Dwarfed by her closest neighbors, Galena sits precariously surrounded by foreign shores.
Built up from a small reef near the center of an almost completely landlocked sea, the City-State of Galena is the central point of a deep, underground tunnel stretching from a location in Redoriv, near Respite, to Aristios near Lakial.
