Darius' Beginnings[]
Born in B.A 55 (23 May 2020) to Emperor Yang and Empress Lian, De, eldest son and crown prince to the Song Dynasty was the next in line to the throne but fate had called upon him to transverse the land seek out his own destiny. De, grew up and spent most of his life in the palace in Xiong Ma and was trained in many fields in the imperial institute. He spent most of his time in the palace library and dive into the books there within. Intrigued by the compilation foreign languages, De when out to seek those who could converse with him in the languages.
He founded a trading company and frequented the streets of the kingdom and met with the citizenry. He was a kind and compassionate man who often stopped his work to help the less fortunate. He favored the company of the lost, orphaned, widowed, and deprived. It was during this time, he met a young foreign man named Ivar who he enjoyed many conversions with.
After a few years, it was revealed that the young man was a king from a faraway land in Rathnir. However, as days grew near, King Ivar had to return home to his homeland, and thus commissioned De to be a mentor and teacher in his city Archenrith, Rathnir. De was torn by this offer as his family was in Xiong Ma and for him to leave, would mean to leave everything behind.
Fate had other plans for De for on one starry night, a fire broke out in his residence. The fire was sudden and struck without warning. It consumed the estate in moments. Hong, De’s first wife perished in the blaze. This was when De made the decision to journey with Ivar.
Knowing that he will be journeying into a different land, De took on the name Darius to mark the beginnings of his journey and therefore, he was known as Darius D. Lee. Darius Also brought his two children, Li Xiang, (Othniel Lee) and Li Mei (Mysteriousme) with him into Rathnir.
Arrival to Rathnir[]
In the year of A.D. 0, after months of traveling by ship, Darius arrived in the lands of Rathnir few days after the founding of Avaria. Once he met up with Ivar, he dived straight into the work before him. Darius side by side with the initial members of Avaria, Ivar, Alaric, Blanc and Tuba.
After settling in the land for three years, tragedy struck when, Avaria received a threat from the nation of Aezenfjord for illegally establishing Archenrith on their land. We were told to vacate the land or war will ensue. Many days of effort when into the negotiation for the purchase of the land but to no avail. However, the Republic of Posavaria offered the people of Avaria the opportunity to move into the unused land of the Kingdom of Regonia. Thus, this set into motion, the great migration whereby King Ivar, Darius and the rest of the Avarian people journeyed across the vast terrain one by one in search of the promised land spoken of by the Republic of Posavaria.
Settling Down Once Again[]
Days when by as Darius transverse the distance by foot and by ship till he found the location given. He selected a small island that was apart from the rest of the main site and immediately began work on it. He knew that his fellow Avarians would have been famished by the great migration and chose to set up a farm to be a source of provision to the rest. He also started logging and mining to bring in the much desired and necessary resources for the building of the nation.
