Draamrith is a once abandoned town located in the north of the Mesa biome on the west side of the Great Barrier. It was the first home in Rathnir of the Draam people and was founded by their leader, Scyther, on the 6th of July, 2021.

Town Life[]

The town grew fast in wealth and population due to its location in the gold-rich mesa. Its leader and early members grew the population by recruiting any nomads they met looking for a town. The first two members to be recruited by Scyther were Son of Furrows, the first non-Draam member of the town, and IcyGamer2020, who was appointed the first Vice President of the town. Throughout the duration of the town's inhabitance many members came and left, but it's population averaged at about a dozen members. Most citizens spent their time mining and constructing buildings in the town. Food was scarce, and most of it came from small farms of wheat and carrots.

The town was small with narrow roads leading between tightly packed buildings. Most structures were personal homes, but some public buildings were constructed such as a town hall, a public storage, and extra rooms for new citizens. A simple wall was constructed along the south border of the town in case of an attack. Beneath the town were the mines. There were many caves, tunnels, and artificial openings.

Statehood[]

Because Draamrith was unwittingly founded on Bardonian land, it faced many diplomatic challenges, and its people were eventually forcefully kicked out.

Negotiations With Bardonia

Bardonia realized quickly that Draamrith had sprung up on their land, and Axyr contacted Scyther and told him and his people to leave the land. Scyther petitioned to become an official city of Bardonia instead, and Axyr supposedly agreed. For most of the duration of Draamrith the people believed they were a part of Bardonia and secretly planned to declare independence when they had grown strong enough.

Negotiations With Uldarash

On July 9 Vice President IcyGamer2020 reported that he had spoken with someone from Uldarash and had negotiated becoming an autonomous state in their kingdom, although what had actually happened was unclear, and it is still unknown which Uldarash official he spoke to. Because he had done this without any warning Scyther demoted him from Vice President and ordered an election for a new VP. IcyGamer2020 told the Draamrith people that Bardonia had agreed to let Uldarash have the land and Draamrith, although it was later revealed that Axyr had been mislead into believing the land was on Uldarash's side to begin with.

Deliberation of Draam Territory

Matters were cleared up when Nikephoros, the Uldarash Minister of Foreign Affairs, organized a meeting with Axyr, Scyther, and Son of Furrows. Axyr learned that the land was on Bardonia's side and ordered that the Draams leave Draamrith or else he would declare war. Nikephoros offered that the people migrate to Kaahiru, an Uldarash city in the south of the mesa.

Emmigration

After being given 24 hours to leave by Bardonia, the Draam people gathered what they could and left Draamrith. Some Draam's planned to move to Kaahiru and some just dispersed into Rathnir.

Town Politics[]

The members of Draamrith never had enough time to formulate a complete political system. They had a President, Scyther, and a Vice President position, and most decisions were discussed among the people then executed by the President.

Vice Presidential Election

After IcyGamer2020, the original Vice President, reportedly made Draamrith a province of Uldarash without consulting Scyther, the President immediately took away his VP role and ordered a Vice Presidential election. Candidates were Teft, Cup of Joe, and Garlicnaut. The election was held on July 10 and Garlicnaut won, becoming the new Vice President.

Miscellaneous Events

On July 8 a player called Xiota joined Draamrith and proceeded to rob the town by looting chests. He stole 6 to 8 diamonds and logged off. This caused Scyther to be more cautious about who joins the town.

Due to the tensions from being on Bardonian land, Garlicnaut argued that Draamrith should relocate to the savanna to the north. After discussing it the Draamrith people decided it was best for Garlicnaut to build a small town in the savanna and the two towns would work together. He began to plan the city and built a railroad track leading to the savanna, but it was never finished.

Rebirth

One night, after the Draam population had agreed to split, Schyther thought to himself:" Screw Bardonia, Draamrith is a Great and Prosperous town, they won't take that away from us, so I am going to refound the town, and it will be great" And so he made the new town that became 4 members strong at the time that this is being posted.

Ardat Autonomous Region

After Schyther's plans to destroy Ardat were discovered on August 17th, Duke Azael made a deal with Schyther to become a territory of Ardat, and so it was agreed

Trans Ardat Railway

On the 25th of August, Schyther made a proposition to create a railway line spanning from Draamrith, through Mesatown and into Ardat, as of the 25th of august it is under construction
