Greater Hafengrad early stage

View of town from the library. Taken in the early stages of the town's development.

Greater Hafengrad[]

Greater Hafengrad is a beautiful town in the country of Sylvania.

Build Style[]

The build build style used is primarily Hafengebaude, seen in the picture, however other build styles are present. This build style was made by town leader, TheDoctor, due to the oak Forrests nearby.

History[]

Founded by TheDoctor, Greater Hafengrad is a successor to Hafengrad, a port city overrun by bandits and other criminals. After the town’s leaders were evicted, they led the remaining townsfolk to find refuge where they now reside. The first buildings included a compact-housing complex, a community storage area, and a public library. Greater Hafengrad was founded next to a river, at a ruin of a wonderful house. As SamTeagan and Meier S. built the town, unaware they were on a nations land, They received a message. They were messaged by the Neighboring Nation of Swardia (Laconia at the time). Swardia was very supportive of the town, in several cases helping supply it, gaining the trust and loyalty of the town. Portavel, The nation the town was settled on, was not too happy. Bhutch (leader of Portavel at the time) maintained peaceful negotiation with the town, which was politely refused. Portavel looked into joining USSE, and with their power, could secure the town. This event caused a bit of a 'Red Scare' in Swardia and the town. Portavel had "elections" to decide to join USSE or not, but rigged the votes, causing extreme anger in Greater Hafengrad. This anger fueled hatred in the citizens and TheDoctor, which lead them to hold a coup in the capitol of Portavel. The battle was quickly lost as it was 4 fighters in Diamond versus 13 in full netherite. After the embarrassing loss, USSE ended up not claiming Portavel, Making the battle a success in a way.

Religion[]

Ezstuism was the official religion (before unfortunately disbanding). The most present religions go by the name of "Sithism" and "Path of the Verdant Veil," however, citizens are free to practice any religion.
