Hrabians, or Hrabs (Hrabian: Нrby/Нrbcy) are an Ethnic group considered indiginous to the Hollow mountains region of the north east of the continent of Katsura. They predominantly live in the Republic of Hrabia, although diaspora communities can be found in Kiruko, Sethris and Jorthar.
Biology and Appearence[]
Hrabians are 2 meter tall light green skinned humanoids with exagerated Craniums. Hrabians are typically bald, but have bushy eyebrows and are able to grow facial hair. Hrabians are theorectically immortal, and cannot die of old age, although the oldest known Hrab to ever live, Ogóroнrb Päтyкović, who was killed during a robery, lived to about 412 years old. Hrabians are thought to be more intelligent then humans by default, although no evidence has been found of that being the case. Hrabians cannot reproduce sexually or asexually, and only grow their numbers by coverting members of Non-Hrab species into Hrabs using a religious ritual called "Hrabinization".
History[]
Although the exact origin of Hrabs and the "Hrabinization" process is unknown, it is speculated that Hrabians may have been related to early Korol groups in Rathnir.
The first known Hrabian Settlement, Ogórovjec, first documented as Ogórowiec, was founded in October of 2021 following Ogóroнrb Päтyкović's immergence into the area. Archiological evidence suggests Hrabic activity in the area extended far longer then what is concretely known. It is thought that Vinvuri were hunted for meat and pelt in early Hrabia. Hrabian records during this time state that the first temple of Ogór, belonging to the Children of Ogór was built.
With the intent of spreading the Children of Ogór and Hrabian influence abroad, many Hrabs traveled internationaly. A small population of Hrabs settled in the Rodinnbróki city of Azrielus, and were even allowed to construct a Temple of Ogór, dubbed the "Grand Temple of Ogór in Azrielus". Nearby, a Hrabian settlement was established called St. Augurksborg by Hrabo-Rodinbróki Jarl Ogórk Jarlović. During this time, Päтyкović, served in the Rodinnbróki riddari council. St. Augurksborg was later razed by pillagers from Zhon.
Recently, Hrabians have been granted autonomy in Sethris.
